THE CHALLENGE
As a newcomer in Bali’s competitive bakery and pastry market, Bapak Croissanterie faced the challenge of establishing a unique strategy. The challenge was to attract a new generation of customers, unlike the B2B market of Bapak Bakery. Additionally, launching the brand without a physical store posed a significant challenge that required innovative solutions.
BRANDING, PACKAGING & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
The goal of this project was to create a premium counterpart to Bapak Bakery: slightly simpler and more modest, yet capable of catering to high-brow audiences. We retained Bapak Bakery’s signature yellow, using the same Pantone as a complementary color as a reminder for the brand’s roots. To meet the essential criteria, we designed a minimalistic logo with gold as the primary brand color. By maintaining a white and gold palette, we focused on highlighting the new premium product catalog, believing that the images would speak volumes to the prospective market.
Similarly, on social media, we took a creative approach. Instead of bringing a typical look of an ordinary bakery or pastry business, we presented our products as if they were in the fashion world. This inventive strategy was aimed at capturing people’s attention and setting us apart, hoping through our only channel of distribution (Grab/Pickup), we hope to attract a larger audience and leave a lasting impression.
RESULTS
The brand is now ready to be more seen and able to slowly step up and gradually capture the market. The aim now is to take steady steps toward opening an offline store and reaching a larger audience.
